- Federal ‘Cheaper Home Batteries Program’: This generous incentive lowers the upfront cost of installing a solar battery via small-scale technology certificates (STCs). It offers a discount of $370 per kWh of battery capacity.
- WA Residential Battery Scheme: This second battery rebate offers an additional $130 per kWh of battery capacity (up to a maximum of $1,300 per household. We handle the application process for you through Plenti.
- Solar Panel STC Incentive: Homeowners still receive a discount for installing solar panels, offering additional savings for those investing in clean, renewable energy.

Expanding Our Workforce to Maintain South West’s Best Solar Service
As a leading solar company in South West WA, maintaining our exceptional customer experience has always been our top priority. To meet this huge growth in demand and maintain our high standards, we have significantly expanded our workforce and operations in 2025.
- Installation Teams: We’ve hired more licensed electricians and trade assistants, all thoroughly trained and supervised to meet our industry-leading installation standards. We now have over 60 employees in this department and are still growing to this day!
- Administration Department: Our admin team has tripled in size to smoothly handle rebate applications, system approvals, and bookings. We’re now installing over 100 solar and battery systems each week, up from about 60 jobs previously.
- Customer Support/Service Team: We’ve doubled our service staff on the phones to ensure we continue delivering fast, friendly, and knowledgeable support before and after installation.
- Warehouse & Logistics: We’ve also added more warehouse team members to efficiently pack and dispatch components to our crew.

To keep pace with the rise in installations, South West Solar Force has expanded our fleet with six new vehicles and trailers. This investment ensures our teams can reach customers efficiently across WA’s South West region.
